Rental Renovation

This mid 80’s rental property in Cowfold had been rented out for the last 3 years and was showing all the usual areas of wear and tear.

The walls in the lounge, hall, stairs, landing and master bedroom were sanded using the Mirka dustless sanding system before being sprayed with two coats of white emulsion.

The two smaller bedrooms and kitchen were showing much less wear and were all rolled with a single coat of magnolia emulsion.

Throughout the house, the skirting boards and door frames were treated to a coat of gloss paint to get that fresh wood effect.

The property would certainly benefit from a complete overhaul, however you can see from the pictures that a lick of paint along with freshening up the carpets and adding some final touches such as curtain tie back hooks and modern light fittings can make a huge difference to the overall feel of a rental property.

Clean lines and modern touches are easy on the eye and make it easy for potential tenants to visualise their life and furniture in your property.

Isn’t it a waste of money? In our experience, tenants are more likely to look after a property that is regularly maintained by its owners so it’s certainly a worthwhile investment.

If your rental property could do with a spruce up prior to new tenants moving in, get in touch for a quote. We can quote for repairs or a full redecoration including walls, ceilings and woodwork.
